THE MAKING OF REAL GOOD CHOCOLATE
ROYCE' was founded in Sapporo, Hokkaido in 1983. Hokkaido is an island located at the northern extremity of Japan where it’s best known for its cool climate and rich natural resources making it an ideal place for producing chocolates of excellent quality. The core ingredients of our product such as fresh milk, fresh cream, and butter cannot be found anywhere else other than Hokkaido; this truly makes our products different from the rest.
Through acquiring the best techniques and enriching our experience, we are able to make chocolate of world-class quality. The fundamental principle of Royce’ has been and will always be the painstaking sourcing of high quality ingredients so as to constantly produce perfect chocolates that results in a brand that people around the world have come to love.

Established Royce' Confect Co., Ltd.
1985
Royce' first item 'Chocolate Bar' was produced.
1990
Started production of 'Pure Chocolate'.
1995
Our best-selling chocolate 'Nama Chocolate' was born.
1999
Started production of 'Nutty Bar Chocolate' and 'Baton Cookies'.
2002
Very unique item Potatochip Chocolate was introduced.
2004
Started production of 'Chocolate Wafers'.
2008
The 'berry' delicious Berry Cube from the 'Prafeuille Chocolat' line hit our stores.
2011
First Indonesia shop was opened.
Factory
High quality production and strict hygiene standards
Access to the production line is strictly controlled. Before entering the production line area, everyone is required to wear factory-issued uniforms and shoes before passing through a specialized air tunnel to remove dust. Adhesive tape rollers are then used to ensure that no dust remains on the clothes. Finally, hands are carefully washed and disinfected. No one may proceed to the production line until they have fully completed this process.
